What is a Clubhouse?

A Clubhouse is a place where people come to rebuild their lives. Participants are members and the focus is on wellness not illness. Every opportunity provided is the result of the efforts of members and staff working side by side in a unique partnership. One of the most important steps taken toward greater independence is through transitional employment, with members working in the community. Members also receive support through advocacy in securing housing, advancing their education, obtaining good psychiatric and medical care and maintaining government benefits.
